Available memory less than 15 MB:Counter Strike 1.6 error

I was facing a problem with my counter strike 1.6 .After installing the setup ,when I tried to run it was getting the below error  message” Available memory less than 15 MB”

My laptop configuration:

Windows 7 home premium

4 GB RAM.

I7 processor.

1GB graphics

500 HDD

Still I can find 40-50 GB free in my C drive .

Find the fix below .

FIX:

Right click on the shortcut, choose properties, go into compatibility tab, mark the Run this program in compatibility mode and choose Windows XP(Service Pack 2).I think this will solve the issue as it did in mine.Let me know if anyone still facing the issue.
